Yoliin Am Canyon
The Yoliin Am Canyon is one of the great canyon in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National park. Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National park is located in Umnugovi province, Mongolia. The Gobi Gurvan Saikhan is end of the Altai Mountain Range. Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park which is a strictly protected area, covering 70sq.kms. The National park was estamblished in 1965. There are many a beautiful valleys in the National park. The Yoliin Am Canyon named by Bearded Vulture which means Yol in Mongolia.
Yoliin Am is a beautiful deep Canyon with many rock cliff, has been created by many years of water erosion. Very wide at the entrance and it narrow gradually into a remarkablegorge. In earlier times, the block of ice rarely melted,being protected from vicious sunlight.
Khongoriin Els Sand Dune
Khongoriin Els Sand Dune is a beautiful, highest and most spectacular sand dunes in Mongolia. The Khongoriin els sand dunes is located in Sevrei sum, South Gobi province. These dunes are Located to the foot of the high Altai Mountains range, the dunes are up to 300m high, 12km wide and about 100km long on the northern part of the mountains of Sevrei and Zuulun Mountain. The Dune called “Duut Mankhan”. This place is main point of Gobi desert tour.
Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs
Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs is located in Southern Mongolia. Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs is one of the most famous palaeontological sites in the world. Bayan-Zag means “rich in Saxaul Shrubs” it is more commonly known as the “Flaming Cliffs” of Bayan-Zag. The American paleontologist Roy Chapman Andrews who visited there in the 1920s has made this place famous as the first discovery of dinosaur fossils in Mongolia. It’s a great place for hiking and you will able to see a beautiful sunset there.
